disciple and rules

Heart disciple—a person receiving and knowing and acting upon all of his or her teacher's teachings and the teachings and actions of the teacher's lineage. A teacher can have more than one "common" heart disciple, but only one "uncommon" heart disciple. Not all teachers will have a heart disciple. ex: The supreme heart disciple of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo was he´s nephew Kathok Situ choki Gyatso.

Greetings—place your palms together in front of your heart and bow slightly as a proper gesture of either greeting or farewell to a teacher or a monk.
