leio esta discussão aberta no facebook sobre os buracos negros do universo, afinal parece que o universo é finito.

  • Larry Hanawalt Another way of say it: everything-nothing is everywhere and nowhere. Every point intersects with every other point at the null point. Being is singular. There is only "one of us" here even though "we" have an infinite number of names and addresses. There is a cosmic logos that is prior to space time and e^ix + 1 = 0 plus the Riemann Hypothesis are the mathmatical expression of that logos.

  • Janna Levin When it just crosses into the even horizon of an astrophysical black hole -- that is, the shadow -- it should be fine. It'll be pummeled at some point as it approaches the singularity in the center of the black hole and turned to fundamental particles or strings or obliterated. But again, we don't really know what happens near the singularity since our theories start to fall apart. Maybe there's a remnant at the core that preserves some quantum information about the fundamental particles in the gold.
