Bottom line: onions are one of the most scientifically supported anti-cancer superfoods and are extremely low in calories. They are easy to include in your diet in salads, soups, omelettes, sandwiches, even smoothies.

Keep in mind that latest research tells us raw garlic may be far superior to cooked garlic in fighting cancer - the same may well be true for onions since both are allium vegetables.
